Nama Holding is a joint-stock company, registered in the Sultanate of Oman. The company commenced its commercial operations on 16 September 2003 and holds the shares of the Government in subsidiary companies. Nama Holding is responsible for implementing the Government's policy on financing state-owned companies in the electricity and related water sector, supporting and implementing government privatization policies for the electricity, water, and wastewater sector, drawing Nama Group's strategy which focuses on developing its business and supervising all the key strategic projects implemented by the subsidiaries.
