Al Morooj Dairy Co. significantly contributes to Government targets of food security and provides a sustainable income to rural communities by establishing effective Extension Services. The Company’s purpose is to train the herders to improve milk production, handling and quality. Moreover, it also aim to transform the livestock holdings in Dhofar into a productive sector by implementing new technologies to increase milk productivity obtained from the local herds, which is reflected on their living standards and self-sufficiency as well as their GDP.
