Financial Team Lead - Accounts Payable and Receivable

Description:

Supervise  day-to-day  accounting  activities,  including  accounts  payable,  accounts  receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

▪   Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.

    Review accounting transactions and entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.

    Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

▪   Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

    Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including audit preparation, documentation, and responses to audit inquiries.

Monitor  cash  flows  and  forecast  short-term  and  long-term  cash  requirements  to  support

operational needs and capital expenditures.

    Monitor bank account activity and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.

▪   Ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of the company’s cash flow to maintain optimal liquidity

levels, support business operations, and identify funding needs.

    Oversee  daily  treasury  activities  including  bank  reconciliations,  payments  processing,  fund transfers, and ensuring compliance with banking policies, limits, and internal controls.

▪   Prepare and review treasury-related reports such as cash position, FX exposure, and investment

summaries.

    Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements related to treasury activities.

▪   Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.

Qualifications

Education Level – Minimum - bachelors degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.

 

ACCA certificate will be advantageous.

Experience

  •  Minimum - 6 years of experience in financial functions
  • Proven experience in leading a team is required.
