Description:
Supervise day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
▪ Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis.
▪ Review accounting transactions and entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
▪ Assist in developing and implementing accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
▪ Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
▪ Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including audit preparation, documentation, and responses to audit inquiries.
Monitor cash flows and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements to support
operational needs and capital expenditures.
▪ Monitor bank account activity and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
▪ Ensure accurate tracking and forecasting of the company’s cash flow to maintain optimal liquidity
levels, support business operations, and identify funding needs.
▪ Oversee daily treasury activities including bank reconciliations, payments processing, fund transfers, and ensuring compliance with banking policies, limits, and internal controls.
▪ Prepare and review treasury-related reports such as cash position, FX exposure, and investment
summaries.
▪ Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements related to treasury activities.
▪ Carry out any other activities as and when required by the reporting manager.
Qualifications
Education Level – Minimum - bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or equivalent.
ACCA certificate will be advantageous.
