Position Title: Sales Executive
Location: Sultanate of Oman / Al Khaboorah
Reports To: Sales Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years in agricultural product sales

Role Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for achieving assigned sales targets by developing customer relationships, promoting fertilizer products, and expanding presence in the agricultural market. The role involves direct interaction with farmers, distributors, agribusinesses, and project clients, requiring strong communication skills and practical market knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Promote fertilizer products to farmers, distributors, and agricultural projects.
  • Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and customer meetings.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure timely closure.
  • Address customer concerns and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Collect market feedback and customer requirements for management review.
  • Submit regular sales activity reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

4. Coordination & Operations Support

  • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support collection of payments in line with company credit policies.
  • Assist in stock planning by sharing demand forecasts.

5. Compliance & Representation

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and Omani regulations.
  • Represent at agricultural exhibitions, field days, and trade events.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in fertilizer or agricultural product sales
  • Good understanding of crop nutrition, fertilizer application, and local farming practices
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Oman
