Job Purpose
Directs and supervises operations including both in-house and subcontractor workforce for all activities involving equipment used in production or for rental on plant site locations. Ensures that daily production quantities are met. Provides direct supervision of multiple employees in a large, multi-faceted environment, which includes all operational activities. Exercises independent discretion and judgment in executing business strategies by providing leadership and direction to the team. Trains, coaches, and develops associates on efficient work methods to increase departmental productivity. Monitors departmental results and determines changes needed in procedures or conditions that could affect operating costs.
Operations & Workforce Management Responsibilities
- Plan work schedules to meet business needs.
- Communicate job duties, equipment usage, and material requirements to the workforce.
- Conduct daily safety talks and ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to company and client policies.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees on performance, safety, and improvement areas.
- Manage employee training and ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Audit and train crews on operational best practices to meet targets.
- Maintain high safety standards across all operational activities and workplaces.
- Review and update departmental Safe Job Instructions regularly.
- Monitor and ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure equipment is operational and properly maintained.
- Input and analyze operational data, initiate action plans, and follow up to drive continuous improvement.
- Review processes and procedures for proactive improvements.
- Oversee daily plant site operations and general field activities.
- Attend required operations meetings.
- Lead daily monitoring and tracking of operational requirements to meet client expectations.
- Educate staff on health and safety practices and ensure accountability.
- Achieve performance goals and meet deadlines.
- Monitor and report daily site progress.
- Track material handling to maintain minimal storage levels.
- Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and organized.
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies as needed (24/7 availability).
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent qualification
Experience & Competencies
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar discipline
- Strong operational planning and execution skills
- Competent technical and procedural knowledge relevant to the role
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
- Physically fit and capable of working extended hours when required
- Proven ability to implement and manage operational plans effectively

- Ability to review, implement, and improve safety protocols and procedures
