Job Summary – Sales Officer (Quarries and Mining Sector)
- Support daily sales activities of quarry and mining products (aggregates, limestone, rocks, minerals, etc.).
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and customers in construction, infrastructure, contracting, and industrial sectors.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients; follow up on their requirements and inquiries.
- Prepare and follow up on sales quotations, proposals, orders, and customer communications.
- Coordinate with internal teams (quarry operations, dispatch, logistics, finance, quality) to ensure timely product delivery.
- Monitor customer orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Follow up on payment collections, outstanding receivables, and support billing and invoice reconciliation.
- Prepare regular reports on sales, collections, customer visits, and market feedback.
- Address customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for timely resolution.
- Support Sales/Commercial Manager in meeting sales targets and business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, credit terms, and HSE requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of quarry/mining products and sales processes to achieve results.
- Apply strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills in daily operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP, SAP, or CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and manage multiple responsibilities.
