  • Strong command of financial principles, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, GAAP)
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility.
  • Motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and strong desire to support the team in meeting organizational objectives.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Ability to resolve problem and queries quickly and efficiently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic. 
  • Willing to learn and committed to undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the superiors.

Job Description

A. Accounting and Finance

  1. Responsible for the day-to-day transaction processing of daily expenses, Sales, Purchase and Nominal Ledger and eventually the accounting system implemented to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the accounting records.
  2. Assisting in the preparation of day-to-day financial documents including the Petty Cash, Claims General Ledger, Journal Vouchers.
  3. Keep the management up to date of the latest developments and changes in the local Accounting and Finance sector that could impact the Company.
  4. Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as and when required.
  5. Managing all documentations for audit purposes. 6. Carry-out other tasks that can be reasonably expected from this role.

B. Administrative

  1. Manage all day-to-day administrative/reception tasks to ensure an efficient office
  2. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  3. Ensure that the office is maintained in good order to provide a productive working environment.
  4.  Manage general communication such as post, deliveries, couriers, etc.
  5. Organize documentations in a proper and effective manner.
  6. Organize internal and external meetings, conferences and workshops.
  7. Manage printing system (internal printing/photocopying jobs, supplies, maintenance).
  8. Manage supply of stationery and other office supplies (cleaning products, small items, complimentary office food and drink, etc.).
  9. Coordinate the travel arrangements for office on their travel arrangements and logistics (bookings, visa applications, invitations letters).
  10. Cover for the Director of Finance and Investment in case of absence.
  11. Carry-out other tasks that can be reasonably expected from this role.
