Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel with a strong focus on construction and land-related legal matters in Oman. While this is a general in-house counsel role, the immediate priority is supporting the company’s infrastructure projects, particularly in areas such as EPC contracting, FIDIC-based agreements, land acquisition, and permitting. The Legal Counsel will work closely with the Company’s project development and construction teams, providing legal support across all phases of project execution.
- Drafting and negotiating EPC contracts, design and engineering agreements, and other execution frameworks, including under FIDIC and similar standards.
- Advising on land reservation agreements, usufruct rights, and related land arrangements with regulatory authorities.
- Supporting construction and environmental permitting processes, in coordination with local and national authorities.
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable standards under Omani law.
- Broader legal responsibilities may be assigned depending on the candidate’s profile and company needs.
