Job Title: Digitalization Manager

Location: SOHAR, Oman

Position Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Digitalization Manager to lead SOHAR’s digital transformation agenda. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on embedding digital capabilities across the organization to drive operational excellence, innovation, and business growth.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong track record in delivering enterprise-level digital solutions, managing change at scale, and fostering a culture of innovation. You will spearhead initiatives that modernize systems, automate processes, improve data intelligence, and enhance both internal efficiency and customer engagement.

Core Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy & Transformation

  • Develop and execute a company-wide digitalization strategy aligned with SOHAR’s strategic vision.

  • Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies (AI, IoT, cloud, analytics, RPA) that create tangible business value.

  • Translate business needs into scalable digital solutions through roadmap planning, architecture design, and agile delivery models.

2. Business Process Modernization

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to digitize core processes, increase automation, and streamline operations.

  • Conduct digital maturity assessments and implement optimization initiatives that improve performance and reduce costs.

3. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all digital initiatives comply with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish governance frameworks for digital investments, solution lifecycle management, and vendor accountability.

4. Leadership & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary digital team, fostering innovation, ownership, and agility.

  • Champion digital upskilling across the organization through training, communication, and internal advocacy.

5. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of digital efforts with business priorities.

  • Build strategic relationships with technology providers, industry experts, government institutions, and partners to enhance capability and innovation.

6. Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for digital initiatives; monitor progress and continuously optimize based on results.

  • Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to inform decision-making and strategic direction.
