Job Description
- Ensure that the daily maintenance plans, in liaison with Production Operations and other crafts, are executed in line with set safety and quality standards
- Validate and enter all relevant data of the maintenance within the Area into maintenance planning system.
- Prepare, monitor and control annual budgets for the section, monitor and control expenditure and review budget quarterly with the Area Coordinator and annually during Mid-year budget reviews.
- By use of performance indicators, agreed with the Maintenance Coordinator, monitor the quality and cost effectiveness of the maintenance section, and identify opportunities to improve the business by assessing efficiency and business results, management and planning.
- Identify operating variances outside the design limits and promptly inform the Production Coordinator and develop an action plan to improve. Liaise with the Maintenance Support for advice on problem solving and planning improvements.
- Develop a motivated, competent maintenance work force capable of fulfilling the requirements of the section, whilst fostering team building.
